Most People Think A Destination Wedding is Selfish.

How great does the idea of a wedding on the beach in some tropical location sound to you? However, the truth is your guests are probably dreading getting on a plane to see you say “I Do.”

Most people who throw destination weddings feel like they are giving their guests a vacation, but a new poll finds that more than 37% of Americans believe it’s selfish to expect guests to shell out money and lose vacation days just to see you get hitched.

Even crazier to remember if you're considering a destination wedding is that they will set a couple back $28,000, while a non-destination wedding costs about $35,329. But obviously it cost your guests more to travel to your wedding than to attend your traditional wedding closer to home.

We asked the question and discussed if it truly IS selfish? or not?
