Monday afternoon, Mayor Tom Barrett announced that winter parking restrictions in the city of Milwaukee were lifted, effectively immediately.
The winter parking restrictions usually run through March 1. Considering the unseasonably warm temperatures and lack of heavy snowfall expected throughout the rest of the month, Mayor Barrett decided the winter parking rules were no longer necessary.
